Joanne Moffatt
Joanne is a Human Resources Consultant with more than thirty yearsf experience. Most recently employed as Vice President, Human Resources for an international manufacturing organization, she was responsible for strategic and operational human resources initiatives.
She has also held the position of Organizational Development Consultant for a publicly traded electronic design automation firm, creating its world class corporate university. She designed and facilitated effective leadership programs worldwide, based upon needs assessment identified from her implementation of a global, multi-rater 360* feedback process. These initiatives resulted in re-defining and shaping the corporate culture with greater emphasis on performance management, accountability for results and career development.
Previously, Joanne was Vice President, Human Resources for a privately held technology driven manufacturing company. Under her leadership employment grew from 230 to 1100 peoples throughout North America and Europe.
Joannefs consulting expertise is focused on recruitment, leadership assessment, training and development, and human resources audits. Her past affiliations include Instructor for the Continuing Education Department of Worcester State College, Facilitator with the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, and Adjunct Faculty Member with the Community Colleges of Rhode Island. She has voluntarily consulted to several nonprofit organizations. Joanne has also served in new business development and sales capacities for a global training organization.
As a strategic planner, creative recruiter and engaging and articulate facilitator, she enjoys a hands-on role. Joanne is a seasoned leader noted for her high energy, professionalism and ability to interact throughout an organization. Shefs quite adept at balancing individualsf concerns and business needs.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emmanuel College. Labor Relations studies at the University of MA and coursework toward an MBA at Anna Maria College. Joanne is also a certified Quality Education Systems ® Instructor, Achieve Global (formerly Zenger Miller) Facilitator, Praendex Inc., Predictive Index ® Analyst and Center for Creative Leadership SkillScope ® Consultant. She has worked with numerous training, assessment and employee survey groups including Organizational Analysis and Design® (OAD).
As past president and board member of the Central Massachusetts Human Resources Management Association, Joanne has also held memberships with the Society for Human Resources Management, American Management Association, Northeast Human Resources Association and Boston Human Resources Management Group. She has spoken on radio and television about employment issues and has appeared on Good Morning America.
