Our client company acts as a technical resource and partner to manufacturers in the area of recycling and environmental management.  This exciting green business has excellent potential for growth and innovation.

Having recently invested in state of the art automated processing equipment, our client has created the Vice President of Operations role to grow and bring operational excellence to our two facilities in the Northeast. Currently, both are relatively small operations poised for growth.

Our VP candidate understands the vision, leadership, data-based decision making, technical competence, and personal commitment for accountability that are required for success in an entrepreneurial environment.  

Reporting to the President and CEO, the VP has P&L responsibility for both facilities.  This person is expected to drive rigorous operational improvements, manage multiple complex projects, strengthen financial performance and develop the team in order to achieve significant growth. 

Specific responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate is an intelligent, resourceful, proactive leader equally comfortable articulating a vision as he/she is drilling down to the details of every aspect of the business.  This person has been a successful change agent in a technical/industrial setting and has a bias towards personal accountability.
