Making the Right Choice: Interviewing & Selection Skills

This workshop provides participants with a step-by-step process and framework for preparing for and conducting the employment interview, including methods for assessing "best fit" candidates, and for assuring the interview is conducted in a lawful manner. Emphasis is placed on Behavioral Interviewing, an essential approach to making the right choice. Depending on length of the program, class members will engage in some or all of the following exercises:

• "What You Can Ask...And Not Ask"
• Identifying the "Must and Want" Hiring Criteria
• Videotaped Interviewing and Individualized Coaching and Feedback
